Reinterpreting the MA-1

Already two seasons in which the Alpha Industries MA-1 is a must. It was not difficult to predict that most of the brands, if not all, would attempt to collaborate with alpha, and many others would perform their own reinterpretation.

Ya son dos las temporadas en las que laafamada chaqueta Alpha Industries MA-1 es un must. No era difícil predecir que muchas de las marcas por no decir todas se iban a lanzar a crear una colaboración o una reinterpretación.

For the most lost in the subject we are going to explain briefly that it is a MA-1. The MA-1 bomber jacket (also known as the MA-1 flight jacket) is an American military jacket which was first developed in the mid 1950s.  It was designed by the United States Air Force to serve as an intermediate weight flight jacket for use all year. Alpha Industries popularized it both commercially and professionally throughout the planet. Its original color was the blue one but quickly the green (sage green), known by all, became the iconic color.

Para los más perdidos en el tema os vamos a explicar brevemente que es una MA-1. La chaqueta «bomber» también conocida como MA-1 «flight jacket» es una chaqueta de las Fuerzas Aereas Americanas que fue desarrollada por primera vez a mediados de 1950. Fue diseñada como chaqueta de vuelo de peso intermedio con el objetivo de que fuera válida para todo el año. Alpha Industries la popularizó tanto a nivel comercial como profesional a lo largo del planeta. Su color original fue el azul pero rápidamente el verde (sage green), conocido por todos, le robó el protagosnismo.
