After the launch of his first fragrance, and the book connected to it, Perfume Book, the eclectic Russian designer has also found the time to shoot the campaign for Topman’s new Christmas collection, for which he also directed a short film.

Tras el lanzamiento de su primera fragancia, y el libro vinculado al perfume, el polifacético diseñador ruso también ha encontrado tiempo para fotografiar la campaña de la nueva colección de Navidad de Topman, además le ha sobrado tiempo para dirigir un “shortfilm”.

It is not the first time Rubchinskiy collaborates with the British fashion giant: last May the designer also shot the brand’s SS16 lookbook.

No es la primera vez Rubchinskiy colabora con el gigante de la moda británica: el mayo pasado el diseñador también realizó el lookbok de la marca para SS16.

Grunge style is evident in this campaign, poor neighborhoods with high quality clothes and looks very unkempt. It’s hardly surprising that fast fashion retailers are taking notes from Rubchinskiy’s aesthetic when he’s had such an outrageously good few years, and when youths all over the globe are fawning over his clothing.

Es patente el estilo grunge en esta campaña, barrios pobres con ropa de vestir y looks muy descuidados. Teniendo en cuenta el éxito mundial que está teniendo además de ver como los jóvenes se pelean por sus prendas, no es de estrañar que las tiendas de temporada estén cogiendo referencias y tomando nota de la estética impuesta por Rubchinskiy.
