Matthew Williams<\/a>, founder and creative director of the 1017 ALYX 9SM brand, is the latest designer to join the Moncler Genius<\/a> project. The collection walks the delicate line between functionality and fashion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For his project in collaboration with Moncler<\/strong> (@moncler<\/strong><\/a>), 6 MONCLER 1017 ALYX 9SM<\/strong>, the Chicago designer (@matthewmwilliams<\/strong><\/a>) has conceived a collection with a metropolitan, modern and practical attitude. This is the latest in a long line of collaborations with brands such as Palm Angels<\/strong><\/a>, Simone Rocha<\/strong> <\/a>and Craig Green<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The garments range from jackets to quilted parkas<\/strong> and very lightweight raincoats<\/strong>, as well as vests <\/strong>and leather coats<\/strong>, whose colour range moves around basic colours like black, grey, white with red spikes and orange.<\/p>\n

The launch also includes some less expected items<\/strong> that open up new design territories<\/strong> for the luxury brand. Among the new items for Moncler we find chain belts<\/strong> with carabiners, chest rigs<\/strong> or necklaces.<\/p>\n
