By the end of this month, 35 machines<\/strong> will be installed in 18 districts of the city in order to stop the spread of the virus among the population. Cheng has worked with eight NGOs to start this project. In order to avoid queues, a prior reservation must be made on the Internet. Once the application has been completed, a “smart redemption card<\/strong>” will be provided, i.e. a scanned QR code will enable the user to purchase a pack of five health masks at zero cost.<\/p>\n

“Our teams have been working tirelessly to ensure we have the capacity to produce high quality medical masks here in Hong Kong. Today, I am pleased to share with you that all four of our local production lines will be ready this month<\/em>“, announced Adrian Cheng (@adiancheng<\/strong><\/a>) on his Instagram. He says that this “Mask To Go<\/strong>” distribution program has been made possible with the help of eight NGOs in the city.<\/p>\n

Cheng has also assisted in the distribution of masks in the UK. From his social network he has thanked all those who work to take care of the world’s population. LVMH<\/strong><\/a> and Kering<\/strong><\/a> have committed to producing face masks for France. Pyer Moss<\/strong> has turned its New York office into a donation center for the fight against Coronavirus. Prada<\/strong><\/a> is also joining the initiative by donating eighty thousand protective suits and one hundred thousand masks.<\/p>\n

With regard to our country, there are many businessmen in the fashion sector who have stopped the production of their articles to work in the manufacture of sanitary material, such as the Inditex Group, the most notable, together with the Mango Group.
