Universal Pictures has long had a remake in mind. Now, Luca Guadagnino has just been announced as the director of the next version of Scarface. Luca Guadagnino&#8217;s version will be &#8220;<em><strong>a reinvention of the core of the immigrant story told in the 1932 and 1983 films,<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; according to Variety.<\/p>\n<p>Guadagnino seems to have a busy few years ahead of him, as he has recently found a writer for his adaptation of &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/El_se\u00f1or_de_las_moscas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Lord of the Flies<\/strong><\/a>&#8220;, as well as confirming a sequel to &#8220;<em><strong>Call Me By Your Name<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;, with <strong>Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong> and <strong>Armie Hammer<\/strong> repeating their roles as Elio and Oliver.<\/p>\n<p>With the Coens on script and Luca Guadagnino in direction very few things can go wrong.
