The synergy between the world of luxury and urban or technical sectors of the fashion world has become our daily bread. Yesterday’s announcement of the collaboration between Gucci and The North Face is undoubtedly one of the biggest announcements in a fateful year for the industry. It seems incredible but we’ve gotten used to the new luxury fashion scene surprisingly quickly. Seeing high-end brands hand in hand with others more typical of streetwear<\/strong><\/a> or more technical environments has become commonplace.<\/p>\n

In a series of Reels on Instagram<\/strong><\/a>, Gucci<\/strong><\/a> announced its upcoming collection with The North Face<\/strong><\/a>. The prestigious outerwear firm has become the undisputed reference for some of the most relevant names in the fashion industry. Its more than famous designs with Supreme<\/strong><\/a> are the most sought after by resellers each season. In addition, the collections with Brain Dead<\/strong><\/a>, Junya Watanabe<\/strong> or, more recently, Maison Margiela<\/strong><\/a>, expand the spectrum of a company whose main initial ambition was to make the best outerwear to fight the cold.<\/p>\n
