The decision was based on COVID&#8217;s <em><strong>&#8220;deteriorating situation in Los Angeles&#8221;:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cAfter thoughtful conversations with health experts, our host and artists scheduled to appear, we are rescheduling the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards\u00ae to be broadcast Sunday, March 14, 2021. The deteriorating COVID situation in Los Angeles, with hospital services being overwhelmed, ICUs having reached capacity, and new guidance from state and local governments have all led us to conclude that postponing our show was the right thing to do. Nothing is more important than the health and safety of those in our music community and the hundreds of people who work tirelessly on producing the show.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>We want to thank all of the talented artists, the staff, our vendors and especially this year\u2019s nominees for their understanding, patience and willingness to work with us as we navigate these unprecedented times.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The annual awards ceremony was initially scheduled for January 31. <a href=\"https:\/\/highxtar.com\/these-are-the-nominees-for-the-grammy-2021\/?lang=en\"><strong>Beyonc\u00e9 tops this year&#8217;s<\/strong><\/a> list of nominees with nine nominations, followed by <strong>Dua Lipa, Roddy Ricch<\/strong> and <strong>Taylor Swift<\/strong> with six and<strong> Megan Thee Stallion, Billie Eilish, DaBaby, Phoebe Bridgers<\/strong> and Justin <strong>Bieber<\/strong> with four.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 63rd annual GRAMMY Awards have been delayed to March due to COVID-19.
