During the last few days all the details about ‘The French Dispatch’,<\/em> Wes Anderson’s latest film, have been made public. The feature film stars great artists such as Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, Benicio Del Toro, Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, Adrien Brody or L\u00e9a Seydoux.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although the film was scheduled for release in August 2020, it had to be postponed due to the health crisis. Now, it looks like The French Dispatch<\/strong> <\/em>will be shown on the big screen for the first time during the Cannes Film Festival<\/strong><\/a>. The acclaimed French film festival will be held from July 6 to 17 and will feature great screenings such as Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard’s Annete<\/em> or Competencia Perfecta<\/em> with Penelope Cruz and Antonio Banderas.<\/p>\n

In The French Dispatch<\/strong><\/em>, Bill Murray<\/strong> plays the publication’s editor Arthur Howitzer Jr; a character inspired by The New Yorker’s founding editor Harold Ross. Owen Wilson<\/strong> plays writer Herbsaint Sazerac; while other members of the editorial staff are played by Tilda Swinton<\/strong> (as writer JKL Berensen); Elisabeth<\/strong> Moss<\/strong>, Fisher Stevens<\/strong>, Griffin Dunne<\/strong> and Wally Wolodarsky<\/strong> (as a failed writer who never finished writing a single article).<\/p>\n
