Following the collaboration they started together, Raf Simons and Fred Perry have decided to redesign archival pieces belonging to the British brand. In them, the London essence characteristic of the 80s is reflected.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For this new project that represents the continuation of their union<\/a><\/strong>, Fred Perry<\/strong> and Raf Simons<\/strong> have the photographs taken by Brian Flynn<\/strong> during the party nights at the 100 Club <\/strong>in the years 82 and 83. These images have been included on the garments in the form of patches with stitched edges.\u00a0Also of note is a jacket with a punk aesthetic to which Simons<\/strong> has added graphics reading “Another Land”<\/em> and “Time is on our side”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“I had just left school and was training as a builder. It was my first time earning money and I bought a camera to capture my nights out with friends. I would take the film to be developed before work at 8am and pick it up after work at 5pm. That’s when I would select the best shots for a photo album that I still have.”<\/strong><\/em> says Brian Flynn<\/strong> about the images used in the designs.<\/p>\n
