According to a study conducted by the University of Tufts (Massachusetts), the strange dreams we experience during the dream phase could help us in our daily lives.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You’ve probably experienced the occasional bizarre dream from which you wake up and think “WTF? Well, you’re not the only one. Its subjective nature has led to the study of the dream phase and its meaning since the early twentieth century through various theories such as Freud’s Psychoanalysis. The objective is to understand why we dream what we dream and the rational meanings we can extract from this phase.<\/p>\n

The University of Tufts (Massachusetts, USA) has been investigating, thanks to artificial intelligence, the functioning of neural networks to extract information from the brain. In this way, it has been hypothesized that dreams are a rest for the brain after being exposed to millions of stimuli during the waking stage.<\/p>\n

“Although several hypotheses have been put forward, many of them are contradicted by the sparse, hallucinatory and narrative nature of dreams. A nature that seems to lack any particular function.”<\/strong> <\/em>Erik Hoel<\/strong>, research assistant professor of neuroscience at Tufts University<\/strong><\/a>, tells The Guardian<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Dreams are nothing more than interpretations of our own brain extracted from the depths of our subconscious. Irrational by nature.<\/p>\n
