It is a community where DJ workshops are taught and resources are shared where non-binary and female artists can learn from scratch how to mix music in a completely safe and mansplaining-free space.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8220;With this award we will be able to increase our equipment and also get new materials for the classes. In addition, we would like to launch an online platform where we can share virtual lessons and give scholarships for our DJ workshops,&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> says the <strong>Sin Sync<\/strong> collective after receiving the award.<\/p>\n<p>The collective has also created <strong>Sin Sync Prom Party<\/strong> and <strong>Sin Sync DJs<\/strong> where they promote and share the work of emerging artists and recent graduates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chica Gang<\/strong> fully supports<strong> Sin Sync<\/strong> and, as a collective of women seeking a secure footing in music and nightlife, has selected the school for its work in the industry.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-232878\" src=\"https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/highxtar-sin-sync-ballantines-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/highxtar-sin-sync-ballantines-4.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/highxtar-sin-sync-ballantines-4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/highxtar-sin-sync-ballantines-4-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/highxtar-sin-sync-ballantines-4-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/highxtar-sin-sync-ballantines-4-973x649.jpg 973w, https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/highxtar-sin-sync-ballantines-4-508x339.jpg 508w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Each winner receives \u20ac10,000 in funding as well as individual mentoring from <strong>Boiler Room<\/strong> industry members.<em><strong> &#8220;With this initiative we aim to support local music collectives and raise the visibility of diversity and inclusion issues in music culture. We are driving real change and are committed to diversity in programming; fair pay and, above all, safe and inclusive dance floors&#8221;<\/strong> <\/em>announced <strong>Juan Lopez de<\/strong> <strong>Turiso<\/strong>, Brand Manager of<strong> Ballantine&#8217;s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The other local winners were: <strong>No Signal<\/strong> from the UK; <strong>Bloco Afros os Negros<\/strong> from Brazil; <strong>Bridges For Music<\/strong> from South Africa; <strong>Bal u Bozeny<\/strong> from Polinia and<strong> Batekoo<\/strong> from Brazil.
