Discrepancies between the regional government and the management of the event could mean a change of its current location. Its new destination would be the Spanish capital. If finally, an agreement is not reached, the city council of Barcelona would lose a very high number of benefits. In addition, it is intended to create social activities in the district of Sant Mart\u00ed. The economic impact is estimated at 300 million euros and with this balance Primavera Sound addresses the Barcelona City Council.<\/p>\n

From the other side, the deputy mayor of the consortium and responsible for Culture, Jordi Mart\u00ed assured that an evaluation of the 2022 edition would be carried out and according to this an agreement would be reached for the next years.
