Taking the brand’s flagship shop in Aoyama, Tokyo, as the location for his latest show, Yohji Yamamoto<\/a> presented his autumn\/winter 22 collection there during the Paris Fashion Week (PFW<\/a>) calendar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This last proposal of the Japanese designer has been characterized mainly by the pompous hairstyles with details of grey powder and make-up in white tones<\/strong> that each and every one of the models wore, in the purest Tim Burton<\/strong> style, accompanied by the pieces in black and white tones and playing with the idea of mixing silhouettes and fabrics.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Among the garments in the collection, we have to highlight the coats combined with waistcoats, wide trousers, messy ties and white shirts reminiscent of those worn in the nineteenth century<\/strong>. On the other hand, and if we dig a little deeper, we can see how the pieces have visible seams and hems, a nod to Dickens’ aesthetics<\/strong>, and also how Yamamoto’s<\/strong> characteristic loose silhouette also had its place in the show. The artistic touch to the collection was provided by prints by Polish painter Zdzis\u0142aw Beksi\u0144ski<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
