Surprisingly, after all this and the statements Pavlovsky made about S.L. (<strong>&#8220;how sad it is to see such a brand parasite on another brand. Saint Laurent is a magnificent brand&#8221; and &#8220;customers will not be fooled, they will decide which brand makes the most beautiful tweed jacket&#8221;<\/strong>) the two houses have joined forces to launch an advertisement with a statement about their commitment to fight against plagiarism.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cFrench fashion and couture houses are essential elements of the heritage of France. Their creativity, savoir-faire and their ability to inspire millions of people around the world contribute to the global influence of French industry,\u201d the two brands wrote in the ad featured in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WWD<\/a>. \u201cWe must protect true creativity and ingenuity from parasitical companies whose business models depend on plagiarism and counterfeiting.\u201d The statement further read: \u201cChanel and Saint Laurent also have a long history of mutual respect and are aligned and support each other in defending creation against all attempts from actors whose business models undermine or dilute the value of their creations and investments.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-253712\" src=\"https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/highxtar-chanel-tweed-suits-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"799\" srcset=\"https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/highxtar-chanel-tweed-suits-1.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/highxtar-chanel-tweed-suits-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/highxtar-chanel-tweed-suits-1-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/highxtar-chanel-tweed-suits-1-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/highxtar-chanel-tweed-suits-1-973x648.jpg 973w, https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/highxtar-chanel-tweed-suits-1-508x338.jpg 508w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After releasing the ad, <strong>Chanel<\/strong> told <a href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>WWD<\/strong><\/a> that it was not directed at any particular company: <strong>\u201cOur two houses have a deep respect for their peers and for all the houses that contribute to the reputation and excellence of French and international couture\u2026 Both houses are aligned and, where appropriate, will support each other in defending creativity from parasitical business practices.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What do you think of this latest move by <strong>Chanel<\/strong> and <strong>Saint Laurent<\/strong>?
