This 8 March marks International Women’s Day, which commemorates women’s contribution to history, culture and society. That’s why we’ve put together a list of films that tell inspiring stories.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our top picks include biopics about iconic women such as artist Frida Kahlo and surfer Bethany Hamilton. We also highlight titles such as Hidden Figures, a story of three African-American women at NASA or the 13 Roses, 13 women who were shot during Franco’s regime.<\/p>\n

In addition, we have also included different animated films such as Princess Mononoke<\/strong><\/a>, Mulan, Brave or Persepolis. We have incorporated the documentary Homecoming<\/a><\/strong>, which offers an intimate look at Beyonc\u00e9 in 2018 or I Am Greta, which highlights the environmental career of Greta Thunberg.<\/p>\n
