It all starts with scanning the <strong>QR code<\/strong> on the garment, which will lead to a website with information about the item: from the materials used to style suggestions or benefits. On that same website, you can even link to a resale partner, and check the authenticity of that item by looking at previous owners going back to its manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p>That eagerness to equip products with <strong>digital IDs<\/strong> can also be extrapolated to the use of <strong>RFID tags<\/strong> for inventory tracking in a warehouse linked to blockchain technology. Still, for the time being, assigning those IDs to items manufactured in limited quantities such as luxury watches is a straightforward task. However, implementing such virtualization in big brands is complicated at the moment.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>The virtual revolution<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Countless start-ups are already anticipating the future by creating physical products with associated <strong>digital twins<\/strong> or <strong>NFTs<\/strong>, such as the new concept store phygital <a href=\"https:\/\/highxtar.com\/wow-shop-the-new-shopping-mall-focused-on-millennials-and-generation-z\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>WOW<\/strong><\/a>,<strong> Lablaco <\/strong>or<strong> Arianee<\/strong>.
