In 2016, Off-White™ and Nike launched “The Ten”, a project where Virgil Abloh reconstructed 10 sneakers from the Oregon brand’s catalogue with his unique trademark. Now, five years later, the collection is up for auction.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ten” collection is presented in its entirety at RM Sotheby’s upcoming “Modern Collectibles” auction. The release includes a wide variety of trainers, from the most experimental collaborations to Virgil Abloh’s first capsules with Nike.<\/p>\n

The 10 trainers were divided into two themes. The first, “REVEALING”, was designed to look accessible: hand-cut, free-patterned and reconstructed. It includes the Air Jordan 1, Nike Air Max 90, Nike Air Presto, Nike Air VaporMax and Nike Blazer Mid.<\/p>\n

The second, “GHOSTING”, designed with translucent uppers to enhance the idea of showcasing and unifying the set of silhouettes through common material. It includes the Converse Chuck Taylor, Nike Zoom Fly SP, Nike Air Force 1 Low, Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 and Nike Air Max 97.<\/p>\n
