CHICA comes to the Teatro Eslava with an eight-hour party with the most innovative, underground, experimental and wild national and international talent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After several months without a party in their hometown, CHICA<\/strong> returns to Madrid this Sunday 1 May<\/strong> at Teatro Eslava<\/strong><\/a> to present CHICA Festival<\/strong>. This is a micro-festival celebrating their work after five years of survival as an independent, feminist and LGBT+ music collective, always working to create a space for their community in the Madrid nightlife.<\/p>\n

CHICA<\/strong>, made up of Roc\u00edo Torres<\/strong>, Alba Loughlin<\/strong> and Caesar Arenas<\/strong>, is a platform created with the intention of promoting female and LGTBIQ+ art, as well as creating a safe space in the Madrid nightlife. An initiative that has evolved to become one of the most established collectives in the community, with more than twenty editions and various national and international artists such as Danny L Harle<\/strong>, Juguete<\/strong>, Bossy<\/strong> LDN<\/strong>, Mad<\/strong> Bad<\/strong> Ting<\/strong>, CHICOBLANCO<\/strong>, Voodoo<\/strong> Club<\/strong>, Ghazal<\/strong>, Dinamarca<\/strong>, DJ Florentino<\/strong>, Nadine Artois<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

CHICA Festival<\/strong> brings us everything the collective has always been committed to. From the best of Spain’s emerging underground talent to the most cutting-edge electronic sounds with the greatest international projection.<\/p>\n

The festival proposes to introduce us to an alternate dimension parallel to the original one. A place that maintains the same locations as reality but differs in the life that exists in it. On the other side there is no human life. There are different disembodied forms of inhabiting it. A sensorial echo of our dimension created through the union of image, music and colour.<\/p>\n
