DJ, model, designer and fashion icon Sita Abell\u00e1n announces her new residency OUTOPIA at INPUT Dance Club in Barcelona. Sita Abell\u00e1n’s first party, OUTOPIA, will kick off on 18 June during S\u00f3nar Week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sita Abell\u00e1n<\/strong><\/a> has performed as a DJ on some of the most cutting-edge dance floors around the world. From Ibiza’s DC10<\/strong> and H\u00ef<\/strong> Ibiza<\/strong>, to Art of the Wild<\/strong> in Las Vegas, S\u00f3nar Festival,<\/strong> Rumors<\/strong>, Miami<\/strong> Music<\/strong> Week<\/strong>, It’ll Do<\/strong> in Dallas and Secret Project ADE<\/strong>; as well as for cutting-edge brands such as Alyx<\/strong>, MISBHV<\/strong>, Jeremy Scott <\/strong>and 032C<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A fierce advocate for global femme and LGBTQ+<\/strong><\/a> culture. She has performed at Barcelona’s Loom Festival<\/strong> and is a favourite of the He.She.They<\/strong> team. As a DJ, Sita<\/strong>‘s love for the historical sounds of techno, industrial and electro combines with a fierce fascination for the new and current, channelling rave psychedelia with dark industrial influences.<\/p>\n

OUTOPIA<\/strong>, a haven for techno and rave music, is designed as an inclusive space that hosts women-only line-ups in a bi-monthly programme. The opening party, headlined by Sita<\/strong>, will feature Canadian DJ AADJA<\/strong>; techno punk duo Brutalismus3000<\/strong>; Portuguese producer \u00d8TTA<\/strong> and Berlin-based DJ Raven<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Located in the heart of Poble Nou<\/strong>, INPUT<\/strong> Dance<\/strong> Club<\/strong> is one of the hottest techno venues in Barcelona. Over the years, INPUT<\/strong> has become the hub of techno music by bringing to its soundsystem a roster of international artists such as Adam Beyer<\/strong>, Pan<\/strong> Pot<\/strong>, Charlotte de Witte<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n

Sita Abell\u00e1n<\/strong>‘s OUTOPIA<\/strong> party is the latest residency to take over the dance floor, with capacity for 1,000 people. More dates will be announced soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
