Caf\u00e9 del Rey<\/h3>\n

The terrace of Caf\u00e9 del Rey, this neighbouring bar to the Temple of Debod, is actually a tiki bar with hammocks and surfboards, more like a Caribbean beach bar than a beach bar in the centre of the capital. Mojitos, daiquiris, sangrias (or even the Pride<\/a><\/strong> cocktail if you happen to be celebrating Pride) are served among palm trees, white sand that carpets the patio and bamboo canes that give it an exotic air.<\/p>\n

Cava Baja 5<\/h3>\n

From the outside, Cava Baja 5 is just another tavern in La Latina, but on the lower floor there is sand under the brick arches that roof the basement. The bar is christened with its exact address, so you can’t miss it, but its most loyal customers colloquially call it “la playa” (the beach).<\/p>\n
