Having a smooth foundation for make-up application is the first step to looking flawless. Then blend your foundation with a sponge, blending the foundation into your skin to create a “second skin” effect.<\/p>\n

Be careful with concealer<\/h2>\n

If you’re looking to lift, apply concealer to the inner and outer corners of the eye, blending upwards to highlight. This is also a perfect trick to use if you need a quick eye lift.<\/p>\n

Don’t blend upwards<\/h2>\n

Place contour under the cheekbone and a little under the jawline and blend to create shadows. Place concealer or highlighter over the contour to highlight the cheekbone area.<\/p>\n

Look at blush placement<\/h2>\n

Instead of blushing your cheeks, apply product to the high points of your face. Lift your face by applying blush on the cheekbones instead of highlighting or correcting and on the temples to evenly sculpt the face.<\/p>\n

High-lift eyes<\/h2>\n

With the high-lift technique, sweep eyeliner upwards at a 45-degree angle. It draws the wing outwards, creating an upward slanting cat eye, which also makes the eyes appear larger.<\/p>\n

Place mascara in the centre of your eyes instead of concentrating on the outer corners. This trick instantly opens up the eyes, creating a wide-awake eye effect.<\/p>\n

Bushy but tamed brows that are combed upwards and have mega volume give the face a subtle arch and elongate it, making you look more awake and refreshed.<\/p>\n
