A year after discovering SUOT STUDIO, a cutting-edge experimental project with a profoundly versatile character and a singular focus on the ecological conception of the product – approached with the reuse of precious materials – the Spanish jewellery firm celebrated last Friday a great brand momentum in an unexpected enclave, with the expectation of a growing community that accompanies the firm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With a transformative and underground spirit, SUOT STUDIO transgresses the traditional codes of jewellery, discovering a side of the trade that is very different from what is known. In keeping with the brand’s original objective – to establish links with talents from the creative field in all its branches and variants – SUOT STUDIO has found in dance the inspiration to conceive the event. With the slogan “We connect when we dance”, the firm invites us to get to know them in the way that unites us most, the way that uninhibits the soul and makes it connect with other individuals: dance.<\/p>\n

This reflection, combined with the punk, young and clandestine thinking that characterises the brand, almost inevitably results in “the rave”. In search of a raw space that brings us closer to the techno scene and reminds us of the hardness of a mine from which precious gems will emerge for the occasion in the form of artistic collaborations with young people, SUOT surprises us with a take-over of the interior of the Civitas Metropolitano stadium. SUOT wanted to transform the stadium’s car park into a real gold quarry, with a gigantic golden mountain starring on the dance floor, enclosed by metal walls, almost dazzling the entire set of the event.<\/p>\n

To complement the striking gold colour, the firm wanted to find new ways to express the values of the project and support different art formats by inviting 3 talents to interpret different characters of its brand to create works that represent the different sides of SUOT STUDIO’s personality. These collaborative works have been named Conexiones, in the image and likeness of their main jewellery line, in which metallic plates of precious metals are joined in a modular way to give rise to an earring made of earrings.<\/p>\n

Maximo Recio, Pau Jim\u00e9nez Urticae and Octavi Serra have created for the occasion an audiovisual piece of enormous magnitude, a projection inspired by the recently inaugurated SUOT STUDIO website and a sculpture reminiscent of the firm’s metallic connections, respectively. Of course, SUOT has also paid special attention to its line up of DJs, who will be in charge of the rave with a selection of techno music that has encapsulated the concept. In the booth, Berlin-based DJ Raven (@raven.unltd<\/a><\/strong>) Yung Prado (@yungpradito<\/a><\/strong>) and Soft Chaos (@softchaosssss<\/a><\/strong>), from Canada.<\/p>\n
