A new group has burst onto the Madrid underground music scene: Por las Noches. A quartet born in days of confinement and post-pandemic, and which emerged almost by chance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Its members are regulars in the nights of Malasa\u00f1a<\/strong><\/a> and the concert halls of the capital: Luis Basilio<\/strong>, from Los Nastys<\/strong>; \u00c1lex de Lucas<\/strong>, from The Parrots<\/strong>; producer Ra\u00fal Santos<\/strong> and Edu Por Las Noches<\/strong>. Bolero punk, psychedelic bossa, pure Latin heart. The name is a declaration of intentions of what you can expect from Por las Noches<\/strong>: honest, direct and very festive.<\/p>\n

And despite the fact that they were already known on the scene (De Lucas<\/strong> and Santos<\/strong> had already worked together on the soundtracks for ‘Cardo’<\/em> and ‘La Ruta’<\/em>), it was chance and a common feeling of dislike that worked the miracle. The sequence of events triggered, in the words of Por Las Noches<\/strong>, was as follows: “Edu had been writing for some time and showed us his ideas. A few days later, the pandemic placed Luis and \u00c1lex in a hostel in Madrid, where Ra\u00fal’s soundsystem was. With a lot of free time and broken hearts, they finished these songs”<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Their calling card is, precisely, a lament with a touch of sarcasm about the drama of falling out of love. A rogue bolero produced by Ra\u00fal Santos<\/strong> and titled ‘Para nada’<\/strong><\/em>, which has been released on the La Estrella Records<\/strong> label and is already available to listen to on Spotify<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
