The appreciation and malleability of these elements are present in human evolution. The human being is capable of transforming matter, of intervening in the natural process of a stone and creating a whole different philosophy but&#8230; <strong>Have you ever wondered how rocks are able to transform humans?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stones are solid and heavy. The weight of the rock is the weight of what we call time. They are not only composed of minerals and particles, they also possess energy. They hide truths and myths in their textures, shapes and colours. In nature, they can be found in many formats: from delicate textures to raw, brutalist surfaces. Exactly the same contrast exists between<a href=\"https:\/\/highxtar.com\/pilar-zeta-space-of-variations\/?lang=en\"><strong> the Argentinian artist<\/strong> <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/monnierandres\/?hl=es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>the Mexican sculptor<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pilar<\/strong>&#8216;s sublime installation is composed of soft textures oriented towards human perfection: divinity. A tribute to an ethereal and intangible space like her thoughts, represented and created on a digital world but materialised in rock. At the antipodes are the works of <strong>Andr\u00e9s<\/strong>, allusive to the wabi-sabi philosophy, where there is no room for perfection. Oriented towards organic forms, <strong>Monnier<\/strong> states that he does not create anything, he simply connects with different cosmic lines of knowledge and lets his mind and body synchronise to create pieces and installations with allegories in every detail.<\/p>\n<p>In this way, <em><strong>Antipodes<\/strong><\/em> is an exhibition that shows bodies of work created with stone. A nostalgic feeling of an ancient synergy between humans and rocks, as well as <strong>Pilar Zeta<\/strong>&#8216;s installation <em><strong>Doors of Perception<\/strong><\/em>, based on the idea that our subconscious is managed by symbols. The artist creates her new installation in which portals function as entrances to other levels of perception and transform our energy as we pass through them. The <em><strong>Doors of Perception<\/strong><\/em> act as a gateway that allows us to connect with our higher self. A kind of infinite portal that leads to new realities.<\/p>\n<p>At the antipodes is <strong>Andr\u00e9s Monnier<\/strong>&#8216;s installation <em><strong>Pyrus<\/strong><\/em>. A rock pyramid of his own making that alludes to our ancestors and the collective amnesia that we are all part of when we forget where we come from.
