Andrea Pompilio presented at Milan Fashion Week his proposal for Onitsuka Tiger’s FW23 season entitled “Urban Layering”, in which he materially channels the Japanese brand’s progression and dynamic design perspective.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The sports fashion brand founded in 1949, now draws inspiration from the history of fashion in Japan, and transfers it to a collection that explores the art of urban layering within that powerful culture, as a kind of tradition or ritual of fashion.<\/p>\n

Onitsuka’s creative director thus deployed on the infinity of the catwalk a series of loose silhouettes, elevated tailoring and contemporary or remastered versions of traditional clothing, while showing the dynamism that identifies the brand. A whole DNA and heritage that transfers to this proposal in which dilutes the gender barriers, through silhouettes and fluid and minimalist shapes bathed in a neutral color palette, in contrast to other more vivid shades such as yellow or orange.<\/p>\n
