Carliz De La Cruz has filed a lawsuit against the singer, who uses the slogan “Bad Bunny baby” recorded with her voice without her authorization.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny<\/strong> has been sued for 40 million dollars for image rights, moral rights and damages. It has been his ex-partner Carliz De La Cruz<\/strong> who has filed it in a San Juan court on March 1 for using a voice recording without her consent in several of his songs, concerts and promotions.<\/p>\n

The legal document states that in 2015, the singer and his partner at the time had the idea of recording the phrase “Bad Bunny baby” with her voice. Benito included this recording in his song Pa’ ti<\/em> in 2017 without Carliz’s authorization, in addition to starting several of his concerts with the audio. In the song Dos mil 16<\/em> from his album Un verano sin ti<\/em> (2022), he used it again for the chorus. She has also denounced Rimas Entertainment<\/strong>, the record label with which the artist recorded these works.<\/p>\n

De La Cruz explains that she rejected the agreement that her ex-partner’s representatives proposed to her only one day before the release of the album Un verano sin ti<\/em>, but it was still published with her audio. The singer continued to use his famous “Bad Bunny baby” with Carliz’s voice in more songs and concerts.<\/p>\n
