La Roca Village will premiere, as part of the Mortiz Feed Dog – Barcelona Fashion Documentary Film Festival, the documentary ‘Invisible Beauty’<\/em> starring the model and activist for racial diversity Bethann Hardison.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This documentary is part of the section Fashion, Woman and Identity<\/strong><\/em>, which is supported by La Roca Village<\/strong>, one of the eleven Villages of The Bicester<\/strong> Collection<\/strong><\/a>. This section of Mortiz Feed Dog<\/strong>, the festival of reference for fashion documentaries, is dedicated to identity or, in other words, to showing how fashion is a key tool in the process of constructing identity.<\/p>\n

As a representation of this perspective, the festival, whose artistic director and curator is Charo<\/strong> Mora<\/strong>, has exhibited iconic documentaries on this theme, developing the ideas that emerged from these stories in subsequent round tables.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, ‘Invisible Beauty’<\/strong><\/em>, co-directed by Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric<\/strong> Tcheng<\/strong> and the model and activist Bethann<\/strong> Hardison<\/strong>, a revolutionary fashion pioneer, will be screened. The audiovisual piece reviews Bethann<\/strong>‘s career and sheds light on a little-known chapter in the struggle for racial diversity.<\/p>\n

After the screening, actress Amada Bokesa<\/strong>, stylist and model Eulalie Martine<\/strong> Boumlang<\/strong> and content director Noelia Collado<\/strong> will speak from their experience about the process of transformation of the perception of the ideal of beauty<\/strong><\/a> from the media and art. The discussion will take the form of a round table discussion entitled ‘What beauty counts’<\/strong><\/em>, moderated by journalist Noelia<\/strong> Ram\u00edrez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This La Roca Village<\/strong> collaboration is part of The Bicester Collection’s DO<\/strong> GOOD<\/strong>, a programme based on the desire to create a global charitable platform for the Collection<\/strong>, improving the lives of others and empowering women and children.<\/p>\n
