It looks like adidas is going to release the remaining Yeezy products from Kanye West’s Yeezy line, but it is not yet known when. After ending its partnership with the artist, the brand has decided to continue selling its products while stocks last, so YE, according to its contract, will continue to receive a 15% commission for each sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Millions of Yeezy brand trainers, with a retail value of 1.2 billion euros ($1.3 billion), are in storage after their sale was suspended. Their value on the resale market has skyrocketed since Adidas stopped producing them, with some models more than doubling in price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“What we are trying to do now over time is to sell some of this merchandise (\u2026) burning the merchandise would not be a solution,”<\/em><\/strong> said Bj\u00f8rn Gulden, CEO of adidas, adding that the proceeds would be donated to international organisations that West, who changed his name to Ye in 2021, had harmed with his anti-Semitic comments. The brand considered donating all the shoes, but thought they would hit the market and then be resold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
