The jury is made up of 13 prominent personalities from the worlds of design, architecture, journalism, criticism and museum curatorship, including <strong>Magdalene<\/strong> <strong>Odundo<\/strong>, <strong>Wang<\/strong> <strong>Shu<\/strong>, <strong>Olivier<\/strong> <strong>Gabet<\/strong>, <strong>Patricia<\/strong> <strong>Urquiola<\/strong> and <strong>Anatxu<\/strong> <strong>Zabalbeascoa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, two special mentions were awarded. The first went to<strong> Dominique Zinkp\u00e9<\/strong> for <strong><em>&#8216;The Watchers&#8217; <\/em><\/strong>a complex vertical sculptural ensemble that has been created by carving individual pieces of wood that evoke the figure of the divinity Ibeji and represent traditional Yoruba beliefs related to twin births. The second was awarded to <strong>Moe Watanabe<\/strong> for<strong><em> &#8216;Transfer Surface&#8217; <\/em><\/strong>a walnut bark box that pays homage to the cyclical changes of the seasons while recalling the ancient Japanese tradition of making vases that serve as containers in the art of Ikebana flower making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-2
