In this collection, Cole once again reformulates the questions that give meaning and structure to his photographic series: how do you paint a timeless picture? ethereal photography<\/strong> takes on a quintessential pictorial quality here with the transformation of the figure as the predominant theme in his work, again staged in an aquatic environment and in a darkroom where he creates tintype images using the &#8220;wet collodion&#8221; technique commonly used more than 150 years ago.
