The glorification of the skirt now provides unlimited styling options, especially for the summer season. With summer just around the corner, we take a look at the silhouettes that are influencing the aesthetic trends, between micro and maxi formats, both on the catwalk and on the street stlye.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The past few seasons have seen designers experiment with the skirt in all its variations: from Miu Miu’s micro mini, to Saint Laurent’s maxis, Prada’s circle skirt, Coperni’s asymmetrical ones, to Blumarine<\/strong>‘s 90s-inspired denim moment. And, for spring\/summer 2023, the stratospheric success of the skirt shows no signs of slowing down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Already on the catwalks of the Paris or Milan fashion weeks for the fall 2023 season, we could see how designers glimpsed the versatility offered by the piece in question. While Dior <\/strong>put the creative focus on the extended version through maxi skirts with pleated and fitted details, Gucci<\/strong> presented the antithesis of the concept with Y2K-inspired skirts, very low-waisted and tight to the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether the intention with the use of the garment is to enhance, generate drama or outline the silhouette, what underlies all this is clear: the skirts have positioned themselves as one of the favorite choices of the cool girls with which to immerse themselves fully in all designs and aesthetics presented, between asymmetrical cuts, satin finishes, or inspirations such as parachute or cargo with which to elevate the whole look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the versions that icons like Hailey Bieber<\/strong> have worn such as Prada<\/strong>‘s camel-toned belted miniskirt, Rihanna dazzled us all by wearing a maxi interpretation with a wide slit from Chrome Hearts <\/strong>that she paired with a one-button top.
