In the 1980s, Tommy Hilfiger<\/strong> and Keith Haring <\/strong>shared a common dream: to democratise art and fashion. That desire was translated into the visual artist’s message that “art is for everyone”<\/em><\/strong> and embodied in his iconic pop shop at 292 Lafayette Street<\/strong>. A unique energy that not only laid the foundation for Tommy Hilfiger<\/strong>‘s DNA, but crossed the boundaries of time to continue to inspire today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This same energy is immortalised in the new Tommy x Keith Haring <\/strong>collection, where Haring<\/strong>‘s graphic expression permeates the most iconic pieces that fuse fashion and art and pay homage to hip-hop culture and New York City<\/a><\/strong>. A selection of 30 silhouettes for men and women, including a wool bomber jacket, a unisex denim jacket, a sleeveless dress, vintage knitwear, graphic tees, intervention shorts and accessories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Keith Haring is a New York icon and represents the creative spirit of the city. We share his commitment to inclusivity, self-expression and spreading optimism. This collection channels that positivity and brings Keith’s unmistakable energy to today’s preppy,” <\/em><\/strong>says Tommy<\/strong> Hilfiger<\/strong> himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign images, captured by Elliot Kennedy<\/strong>, show the influence of the artist and the pop-art movement through textured overlays of paint, marker and chalk that recall his multidisciplinary and DIY style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
