This 2023-2024 season presents the next opportunity for basketball player Kevin Durant to seek his third championship. Also, with an 82-game schedule for the end of this year, Durant is set to release his new signature Nike KD 16 sneakers. Among the different models that have been revealed online, we now have a first look at the Nike KD 16 “Aunt Pearl”.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This release continues Durant’s tradition of paying tribute to his late aunt, who passed away from breast cancer. This tradition began with the Nike KD 4 sneakers and has become one of Nike’s most beloved Durant-related initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to early leaked images, Nike designers have used a pale pink hue on the tongues, mesh overlays and textured molding on the midsole. Hot pink accents can also be seen on the eyelets, heel icons and midfoot molds. The small Nike logos on the rear are in white to generate more contrast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We expect more detailed images to be revealed closer to their official release, which will likely take place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The recommended retail price for these sneakers will be $160 USD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
