Thom Browne’s Pre-Fall 2023 collection featured sailor silhouettes, as well as boat graphics on garments and patchwork in navy blue along with a wide variety of accessories, taking inspiration from Herman Melville’s novel Moby Dick.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Browne’s bags were one of the big stars of the collection, with their original and sophisticated designs. Among them were boat-shaped bags and briefcases with scenes from Melville’s story. One of the highlights of the collection was the Pebble Grain Leather Whale Baguette<\/strong>, a whale-shaped version of Thom Browne’s iconic silhouette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bag is crafted in black grained leather with brass hardware. It features an adjustable leather shoulder strap that attaches to the signature striped grosgrain tab at the top of the bag (simulating the whale’s blowhole) and opens to reveal an interior zippered pocket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This latest Browne creation is inspired by the silhouette of his iconic Hector bag, a dachshund-shaped bag named after Browne’s own dachshund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
