Oakley has provided Tom Cruise with specialized equipment to perform the most spectacular stunt ever in the Mission Impossible saga.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tom Cruise<\/strong> has risked several intense and dangerous stunts for the movie Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. <\/strong>Because he needed the right equipment to perform them safely, he enlisted the help of one of the world’s leading performance eyewear brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oakley<\/strong> partnered with Cruise to design and develop custom eyewear for his iconic character, Ethan Hunt. Given the danger of one of the most extreme stunts, Oakley had to innovate in the design of the ECLP23<\/strong> goggles, ensuring that they would withstand high speeds and the force of wind in extreme situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although initially considered a prototype, the ECLP23 goggles were refined to be fully operational and provide a customized fit for Tom Cruise’s face. In addition, they had a “Zero Gravity” feature, offering the actor an expanded field of vision, which improved his perception of his surroundings and allowed him to tackle stunts with greater precision and safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
