The capri trousers popularized in the 50s and 60s, experienced a renaissance a few seasons ago with the Y2K trend, so it was only a matter of time before this model became the key piece for this summer 2023. The favourite silhouette of Amelia Grey, Hailey Bieber, or Kendall Jenner is reborn from a multitude of moodboards and designs, becoming one of the pillars of today’s streetwear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Alexander McQueen’s Pre-Fall 2023 collection, denim capri trousers were paired with boots, while at Kenzo and Comme des Gar\u00e7ons, models wore them with trainers. While Isabel Marant went for the cargo trend in capris, Jacquemus Spring\/Summer 2023 opted for denim or a 90s-inspired polka dot pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This season we have also seen them in the streetstyles of Copenhagen Fashion Week, in the ready-to-wear shows in Paris for Spring\/Summer 2023 and in the feeds of celebrities such as Bella Hadid<\/strong> <\/a>or Dua Lipa<\/strong><\/a>.. These trousers, which evolved from the subcultural sphere to the catwalk, could be framed within the ballet-core trend that has joined other micro-trends such as the Coquette Hair.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
