The famous Balenciaga Speed Trainer silhouette has been trying to regain momentum through updated constructions. In recent times, we’ve seen the model reinvented in mule form, and now it’s back on our radar in a version mixed with sole units from the Balenciaga 3XL Trainer.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The base layer retains all the standard design features: ribbed ankles, a solid black polyester construction made from recycled items, Balenciaga branding in all caps adorning the forefoot in white font, and black rubber molds on the midsole and toe cap. The lower has been taken directly from the 3XL Trainer and has been styled with angular pieces on the midsole and black trade. Because this component has a more exaggerated aesthetic, it features more textured panels and a dip in the middle, giving the lifestyle silhouette a modernized, three-dimensional look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The luxury house will release its new silhouette for sale in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
