On August 1, former tour dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles accusing singer Lizzo, her company Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc. and her choreographer, Shirlene Quigley, of sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment, false imprisonment and interference with prospective economic advantage. The serious allegations contained in the lawsuit span from May 2021 to May 2023.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In response to the lawsuit, Lizzo, known for promoting body positive, issued a statement on Instagram calling the allegations “false” and “outrageous.” She stated that it has been a heartbreaking and disappointing period, and that her ethical principles and respect have been questioned. He stated that he has always taken his music and performances seriously and that, with his passion, comes hard work and high standards. However, he also assured that he has never intended to make anyone feel uncomfortable or unappreciated as part of his team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
