For the Autumn-Winter 2023 season, the House presents a new campaign starring Vittoria Ceretti, Aboubakar Konte and Brando Erba, and shot in Milan by photographer David Sims.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The images and film are set against a distinctive green backdrop with a lift as the main element, and evoke the set of the women’s autumn\/winter 2023 show that took place last February. The new campaign features a series of iconic ready-to-wear silhouettes and accessories inspired by the House’s most recent eras, including the latest reinterpretation from the Gucci archive: the Horsebit chain bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First introduced twenty years ago as part of Tom Ford’s Autumn\/Winter 2003 collection, this new bag is a maxi version of the iconic Horsebit, giving a new context to the legendary appliqu\u00e9 conceived by Aldo Gucci in 1953 as a moccasin trim. Updated from the original with a double strap, the new chain Horsebit makes an appearance in quilted leather, fleece, crystal or contrasting leather variations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Fall Winter 2023 campaign, Vittoria Ceretti, the 25-year-old Italian model, proposes new ways to carry the Horsebit chain bag – in the hand, over the shoulder or as a clutch – and demonstrates how this design honours the beauty of a model so representative of its era while preserving its contemporary character that is so characteristic of the Fall Winter 2023 collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
