Fusing the disruptive femininity and rebellious codes of the London brand with the elegance and savoir-faire<\/em> of the French house, an exclusive capsule collection is born.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

An extensive and profound journey through the archives of JPG<\/strong> and KNWLS<\/strong> with the aim of reinterpreting and reimagining unique and completely new pieces that recover some of the most emblematic codes. In this way, a transgressive language has been created where prints take on special prominence, as they form part of the DNA of both brands, through new motifs, techniques and materials. The trompe l’oeil takes over the second skin bodysuits adorned with peculiar exotic figures and even a ruined fence that caught the attention of Harriet Cox<\/strong>, head print designer at KNWLS<\/strong>, and which she decided to use as inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another standout is the slim-fitting ensemble that takes Jean Paul Gaultier<\/strong>‘s corset tradition and applies it to a suit jacket and flared trousers. Semi-transparent mini-dresses and tight knitted pieces are reimagined in the purest sailor style but with an updated plaid treatment, while washed denim makes up the corseted dress with conical cups and lace panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But without a doubt, the main piece of the capsule collection is the aged lambskin leather jacket with an exaggerated furry collar and sleeves that comes in orange-brown and pink. Also of note is the hand-knitted, screen-printed leather corset suit, which took almost a year of craftsmanship led by master crocheter Harry Evans<\/strong> to make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I have always loved the work of KNWLS and have collaborated with them in the past. Their world is really connected to the legacy of Jean Paul Gaultier and it made perfect sense to give birth to this collection inspired by the very specific vision of the female body that both brands have,” <\/strong><\/em>says Florence Teti\u00e8r<\/strong> herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
