It was composed by Sivan, in collaboration with<strong> Leland, Tayla Parx and Kaelyn Behr.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;When we were writing this song, I made a point of using &#8220;Shooting Stars&#8221; &#8211; I kept humming it in the studio. It&#8217;s a huge sample and it was a big request; and I knew they had never approved it in the past,&#8221; said Sivan. &#8220;So I&#8217;m thrilled at the opportunity to sample that song because it&#8217;s iconic to me.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;And then we have Ian Kirkpatrick on the production, who is a genius. I love his work &#8211; he had the plan to record the vocal at a slower speed and then speed it up, and in the end that&#8217;s what you hear in the chorus. I instantly loved the way it sounded,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Troye revealed in a recent interview that <strong>&#8220;Got Me Started&#8221;<\/strong> was one of the first songs he wrote for <strong>&#8220;Something To Give Each Other&#8221;.<\/strong> To accompany the track, the singer has also released a music video set in a Bangkok club. For this production, he reunited with the &#8220;Rush&#8221; visual team, including director <strong>Gordon von Steiner<\/strong>, cinematographer <strong>Stuart Winecoff <\/strong>and choreographer <strong>Sergio Reis.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can now watch the music video for Troye Sivan&#8217;s &#8220;Got Me Started&#8221; and <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/intl-es\/track\/2Rn2ocU7jk8BqFoh6zwf1Y?si=22a85d35e94d48cf\">listen to the song <\/a>on all streaming platforms.
