Her latest film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” has broken a record for the largest domestic box office opening for a concert film, generating a staggering $97 million, Variety reports.<\/h2>\n\n\n

This achievement eclipses even stars like Justin Bieber<\/strong>, whose concert film “Never Say Never”<\/strong> grossed $73 million upon its opening in 2011. Prior to that, the record was held by Miley Cyrus<\/strong> and her film “Best of Both Worlds”,<\/strong> which took in $31.1 million in 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” <\/strong>screened in no less than 3,850 theaters in the United States. Moreover, the success is not limited to the domestic market, as the film also debuted internationally with a gross of $32 million. It opened at No. 1 in the United Kingdom, Mexico, Australia, Germany and the Philippines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Taylor Swift fans in Brazil, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong, the film will be available from November 3, further extending its global reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A touching moment at the film’s premiere occurred when Taylor Swift <\/strong>embraced Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>, who attended the event to show her support. Swift expressed her admiration for Beyonc\u00e9 in a post on Instagram, “I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would have been like without [Beyonc\u00e9’s] influence. The way she has taught me and all the artists out here to break the rules and challenge industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light for me throughout my career and having her appear tonight was like a real fairy tale.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
