Responsible creation drives Camper<\/strong><\/a>‘s commitment to continue improving sustainability through innovation, season after season. For its FW24 collection, the brand is once again committed to proven actions. This includes the use of natural ingredients – from certified, responsibly raised leather and wool to recycled cellulose-based fabrics – combined with plant-based, biodegradable and low-emission synthetic materials such as MIRUM\u00ae, TENCEL™, PYRATEX\u00ae and Sorona\u00ae fibres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four new concepts complement these established initiatives:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The new Responsible Wool Standard l<\/strong>abel is a further step towards Camper’s goal of using only certified materials, and appears this season on the iconic Wabi slipper, as well as on a textile version of Niki and Peu Roda. RWS certification aims to improve the welfare of both animals and the land through a progressive approach to best agricultural and land management practices, while ensuring best practices throughout the supply chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lightweight yet durable, One Piece Knit <\/strong>is a technique that achieves seamless, breathable footwear. With a waterproof treatment it is offered in five different product lines this season: Thelma, Kiara, Peu Touring, Casi Myra and Path (one of Camper’s lowest carbon footprint styles). It produces particularly low CO2 emissions thanks to a simplified production process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainable Winter Performance <\/strong>is a new seasonal concept to fully waterproof four different product lines: Brutus Trek, Peu Pista, Ground and Drift Trail. It uses sustainable performance sole materials and membranes, including an improved Gore-Tex\u00ae membrane and a new Hydroshield\u00ae waterproof membrane made from 100% recycled PET, as well as Vibram and Michelin soles and PrimaLoft linings. The result is an exceptionally durable and comfortable shoe, even in adverse weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In pursuit of durability as well as responsible consumption, Camper is now proposing, for the first time, a Lifetime Warranty<\/strong> on four of its product lines, including the iconic original Pelotas Ariel, along with some of the Brutus Trek, Ground and Peu Pista styles. The programme underlines Camper’s commitment to the highest standards of quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, all these advances translate into a 14.8% decrease in carbon footprint emissions compared to 2019. This season, 95% of Camper’s upholstery and linings are certified, while 97% are virgin plastic free. 37% of soles incorporate recycled materials or natural composites, marking a new milestone on the road to a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
