Just weeks after the arrival of Gucci Ancora<\/strong>, Sabato de<\/strong> Sarno<\/strong><\/a> surprises again with a collection that shares the same attitude as its predecessor: it is grounded in reality and born of human joy and nature. The pieces feature delicate and precious embroidery inspired by a Gucci<\/strong> archive study – specifically of a selection of minaudi\u00e8re<\/em> bags dating back to the 1950s – brought to life again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microshorts resurface to update the sensual crepe dresses paying homage to the nineties; while coats adorned with lace inserts and beaded fringes are combined with flowing silhouettes. Boundaries are blurred in a play of contrasts between day and nightwear, as it all depends on how you want to wear it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art<\/strong> <\/a>(LACMA) hosted notable figures in art, film, fashion and entertainment to honour Judy Baca<\/strong> and David<\/strong> Fincher<\/strong>. Gala co-chairs included LACMA<\/strong> trustee Eva Chow<\/strong> and Leonardo DiCaprio<\/strong>, as well as Sabato de Sarno<\/strong> and Jean-Fran\u00e7ois<\/strong> Pal\u00fas<\/strong>, CEO of Gucci<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
