This special inauguration celebrates the opening of the second Dr. Martens<\/strong> store in Barcelona<\/strong> and the sixth in Spain<\/strong>, thus extending the cultural boundaries of the iconic British brand that continues to be synonymous with self-expression, subversiveness and rebellion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artist Be Fern\u00e1ndez<\/a><\/strong> has been chosen to decorate and illustrate with her drawings part of the space converted into a large canvas, where she has been able to give free rein to her imagination and fill it with colour and good vibes. The result is a seven-metre long work of art on the top floor, highlighting DM<\/strong>‘s historic 1460<\/a><\/strong> silhouette. Under the title ‘Rugido’<\/em><\/strong>, Be has represented the strength, passion, rebelliousness and authenticity shared by both the brand and the city of Barcelona<\/strong>, represented with its recognisable skyline and some prominent pop icons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
