Inspired by the Chinese tradition of jade sculpture, the fashion house directed by Jonathan Anderson presents a series of exclusive accessories.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Master carvers Xiaojin Yin<\/strong>, Lei Cheng<\/strong> and Qijing Qiu<\/strong> join LOEWE<\/strong> for the Lunar New Year<\/a><\/strong> to offer authentic works of art in the form of pendants mounted on gold chains, matching the selection of bags in greenish tones similar to this precious stone. Each one represents the different animals of Chinese mythology as a way of paying homage to oriental culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Jade has a long history in China. It has been used for thousands of years and symbolises goodness, intelligence, prosperity and luck,” <\/em><\/strong>explains the fashion house’s team in an Instagram post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus we find curious representations in the form of a cricket perched on a green cabbage, a snail on a pea pod or an aubergine. Amusing and endearing amulets that have been designed to accompany the wearer wherever he goes, bringing him good luck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Jade is the quintessence of our nation. Its constant presence throughout our history and cultural journey makes it not only a companion, but also a spiritual anchor for our people,” <\/em><\/strong>says Lei Cheng<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
