Welcome to Intellectual Wellness. A meeting between the artist Lorena Prain<\/strong><\/a> and Bimba Y Lola where fashion and art speak the same language: “Fashion and art are culture, so they always feed off each other. The brands that support artists are the ones we will remember”,<\/em><\/strong> explains Lorena Prain from her flat in Paris, surrounded by the toys and personal objects that the illustrator collects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration is a faithful reflection of Lorena’s intimate work, recognisable by its dark and luminous side, which Lorena Infantes Prada has taken around the world, after exhibiting in cities such as London, Madrid, Montreal and Paris. After more than a decade in the field, Prain has created a universe inhabited by tender beings, often disturbing or even incomprehensible to many.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These metaphysical brushstrokes permeate every pore of Intellectual Wellness, with an illustration of the female mind as the protagonist of the collaboration, in a tribute to fanzines and underground comics that have inspired the artist. The drawing is printed on a giant TOTE BAG, laminated and with a double handle. Available in black, brown and ivory, it is the bag that every creative mind needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The capsule collection is completed with a maxi jumper available in three colours. An oversized knitted garment that comes in pink, black and ivory with a funnel neck and embossed cuffs. For the campaign, Lorena Prain herself wears the pieces under the lens of photographer Raquel Franco. The artist has also prepared a fanzine for the launch, which includes an exclusive interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
