The football legend continues to strengthen his relationship with the three stripes brand through a special limited edition launch.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These are two new iterations of the iconic Samba<\/strong> silhouette, made from premium white leather. The first option features the laces, tongue and inner lining in electric blue, while the three adidas<\/strong> stripes appear in a lighter, sky blue-like hue. The mudguard comes in bright gold, while the midsole arrives in a greyish white. Finally, the tribute to the Argentinian legend is represented by an engraving of his logo on the side and the inscription ‘Messi’<\/strong> on the heel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second, more minimalist pair sits on this model’s recognisable rubber midsole, while significant details have been included in purple. The mudguard, like the previous model, is kept in grey suede, while the signature details of the collaboration are included on the tongue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An official release date has not yet been confirmed but the Lionel Messi x adidas Samba<\/strong> is rumoured to arrive at adidas.com<\/a><\/strong> and selected physical shops in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
