This collection is inspired by the identity, tradition and spirit of the United States. For Andreas Aserti, the American dream is no longer what it used to be.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Andreas Aserti, creative director of Lourdes, reflects in the FW24 collection on the idea of the American dream and how the United States has tended towards individuality while abandoning the concept of a large community. Gone is the special feeling of being in America. Still, it poses an internal conflict: being proud of where you come from, but undeniably realistic about what it represents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lourdes’ ‘United States of Whatever’ collection for the Fall \/ Winter 2024 season brings together the various elements of American identity and tradition in the form of complete sets made of deerskin, camouflage print, varsity jackets and maxi shirts that read “Loser”. The launch thus redefines the archetype of the contemporary American.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
