And what better way to make its debut than during the Oscars gala<\/a><\/strong>, one of the most watched TV moments of the year. Called ‘SKIMS Lab’<\/em><\/strong>, the video campaign is directed by Fran Lebon<\/strong> and produced by Wieden+Kennedy<\/strong>, who have been inspired by outer space to bring to life an army of ‘klones’ – yes, with a K – of Kim Kardashian<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the audiovisual piece we can see the celebrity assuming the role of chief engineer inside a futuristic aesthetic laboratory, in which her role is to supervise the quality control of each and every one of the SKIMS<\/strong> products and then test their levels of elasticity, comfort and softness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We wanted to introduce viewers to the SKIMS universe and create a film about the history of our brand and our obsession with product development in a witty and quirky way,” <\/em><\/strong>explains Kim<\/strong> via the official press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
